Alberta has always been a frontier of sorts. This is especially true when it comes to the ministry of the gospel. There's a lot of ground to cover, many seeds yet to be planted, and the workers are few. This is what ministry tends to look like on the frontier. There's a lack in solid support structures, and sometimes you might feel like you're all alone.

My name is Michael Lorusso. I'm not from Alberta, but I got here as fast as l could! After meeting an Alberta farm girl, I heard the call, "Go West young man!" I left Ontario and have been here ever since. Today we are married and have four beautiful children. I serve as a pastor at High River Baptist Church. This blog is an attempt to encourage and equip my brothers and sisters who are at work on the frontier.
